PFF chief chairs meeting

LAHORE The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Disciplinary Committee met under the chairmanship of President PFF Faisal Saleh Hayat in Kuala Lumpur to decide on 32 disciplinary cases. According to a PFF press release, it was fourth such meeting within eight month as Faisal also chaired similar meetings on March 22, April 30 and August 2010 meet at the same venue to decide several cases, said the information made available here. The AFC Disciplinary Committee has made the decisions related to the AFC Cup 2010 Knock-out (14 cases), AFC Champions League 2010 - Knock-out (9 cases), AFC President Cup 2010 finals (2), AFC Under-19 Women Championship 2011 (3), International Friendlies (2), AFC Champions League 2010 Group (2). The Jordan Football Association, for their matches against Iraq, Bahrain and Egypt in September and October, is ordered to pay a fine of USD 3,000 for violating article-4 of the regulations governing the application of the AFC statutes and is further ordered to pay another USD 1,500 pursuant to article-40 of the AFC Disciplinary Code for repeated infringements. Total of fine imposed on Jordan Football Association is USD 4,500. The fine shall be settled within 30 days from the date of this decision.
