AJK beat Bahawalpur in Blind Cricket

OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) blind cricket team outclassed Bahawalpur by nine wickets in the PBCC Agha Shaukat Ali Memorial Blind Cricket Tournament, says a press release issued here on Tuesday. Bahawalpur, after winning the toss, decided to bat first and scored 151 runs all out in 18.3 overs. Ghulam Mustufa was the highest scorer with 60 runs. Nisar and Haseeb grabbed one wicket each. In reply, AJK achieved the target easily losing just one wicket. M Jameel was the key batsman for AJK who scored brilliant 109 runs. In another match of the day, Islamabad blind cricket team outclassed Peshawar by nine wickets. Rizwan Ahmed was the highest scorer with 48 runs. Zeshan Abbasi and Anees Javed shared a wicket each. In reply, Islamabad chased the target easily in 16.4 overs by losing just one wicket. Muzaffar Ali was the highest scorer with 60 runs. Javed Khan got one wicket.
