Pakistan to hold South Asian Bodybuilding

LAHORE - Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation (PBBF) secretary Sheikh Farooq Iqbal Friday said the South Asian Bodybuilding Championship would be held here from October 4-6 under the aegis of PBBF. “It is a big honour for the country that a premier bodybuilding activity will be held here which will help in bettering the image of Pakistan across the globe,” Farooq said. “Afghanistan, India, Nepal, Maldives, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will send their top players to take part in the event. Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has assured us all-out help to organise the event in a befitting manner. We will be fielding a strong team to throw a strong challenge in the event and our bodybuilders have started their preparations to achieve desired results in the mega event,” he concluded. –Staff Reporter
