ISLAMABAD - Civil Judge Inam Ullah Khan has upheld the stay order against Islamabad Football Association (IFA) and adjourned hearing till February 11. The petition was filled by PTCL Youth FC and Royals FC during the hearing on Thursday. IFA president Dr Fazal, associate secretary Zakir Hussain Naqvi and secretary Zaman representative Syed Maqbool Hussain Naqvi were present in the court. Due to non-presence of petitioner’s lawyer, the hearing was deferred till 11th and both parties were ordered to be present in the court along with their lawyers on the said date. The court had granted stay against the IFA in the last hearing, but despite clear instructions, the IFA president committed contempt of court by calling illegal meeting of the IFA general council meeting, a contempt of court appeal would be filled against the IFA president this week.
