CPO directs foolproof security for election




RAWALPINDI   – City Police Officer Azhar Hameed Khokhar said that foolproof security arrangements have been made for forthcoming general election scheduled to be held on May 11. Talking to APP, the CPO said that political parties should cooperate with the city administration in respect of holding general elections in peaceful manner. He said that election commission’s code of conduct will be implemented in letter and spirit adding that no one would be allowed to exhibit arms and disturb the peaceful atmosphere.
He said that strict action would be taken against the violators. He said that special security would be deployed for election rallies.
