RAWALPINDI – Rawal Town Municipal Administration (RTMA), in its ongoing operation against encroachments in the city, has confiscated four truckloads of goods of 40 encroachers.
The RTMA confiscated the goods from different market for encroaching footpaths and roads in front of the shops. On the directives of Administrator Rawal Town Saif Anwar Jappa, RTMA officials conducted the operation in different areas of the city including Jamia Masjid Road, Raja Bazaar, Bara Bazaar, Benazir Bhutto Road (Murree Road), Iqbal Road and Commercial Market.
The officials dumped the confiscated goods in store of RTMA office that would be auctioned in next month.
