Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has posted the former Establishment Secretary Sohail Ahmad as Secretary Narcotics Control Division. He was made an Officer on Special Duty after he issued a notification transferring Hussain Asghar back in the FIA. The Supreme Court took serious notice of this development and had ordered his posting back as Secretary Establishment. Mr Sohail has not been posted back in the Establishment Division but given the post of Secretary Narcotics Control Division. Transfer orders of two other BPS-22 officers have also been made alongwith Mr Sohail Ahmad. Mr. Anees ul Hassnain Musavi has been appointed as Secretary in the newly formed Ministry of National Harmony. Mr. Abdul Ghaffar Soomro, another BPS-22 officer has been appointed as Senior Member, Federal Land Commission.
