Tottenham acquire Bentancur, Kulusevski from Juventus

Tottenham Hotspur said on Monday they have acquired Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus.

Bentancur signed with the London club until 2026, while Kulusevski joined on an 18-month loan with an option to buy.

Bentancur, who plays as a midfielder, won three Serie A titles (2018, 2019, 2020) with Juventus and also has 46 caps for the Uruguay national team.

Tottenham said the 24-year-old will join the club after Uruguay's World Cup qualifier against Venezuela on Tuesday.

Kulusevski plays as an attacking midfielder, and also represented Atalanta, Parma, and Juventus.

The 21-year-old has scored one goal in his 21 caps for Sweden.

Ndombele returns to Lyon

Meanwhile, Tanguy Ndombele returned to Olympique Lyonnais on loan until the end of the season, Tottenham announced.

The 25-year-old French midfielder had joined the Spurs from Lyon in 2019. He scored 10 goals in his 91 appearances for Tottenham.
