5.2 magnitude quake jolts KP's Swat and Charsadda areas

A 5.2 magnitude earthquake jolted parts of the Khyber Paktunkhwa on Sunday.

The tremors were felt in Swat, Charsadda and Mingora. According to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre Islamabad, the quake struck at 6:39am with 1779km depth in Hindu Kush mountainous region, Afghanistan. It had a longitude of 77.99 East and a latitude of 38.28 North.

People came out of their residential properties and started reciting Kalima. No loss of life and property has been reported so far.
