Aisam stuns Sania in French Open

Pakistan’s tennis ace Aisamul Haq Qureshi and Zimbabwe's Cara Black stunned top seeds Sania Mirza of India and Robert Lindstedt of Sweden in straight sets 6-2, 6-3 in the first round of the French Open Tennis Championship mixed doubles event in Paris, France.
According to information made available here on Friday, partnered with 34-year-old Cara Black, Aisam started very strong against the top seeds pair. Although Robert Lindstedt has got no Grand Slam title, yet he is currently ranked third in the doubles rankings while Sania Mirza has got one Australian Open and one French Open mixed doubles title with Mahesh Bhupathi.
Aisam and Cara broke their opponents three times in the first set as they took the first set 6-2 in 26 minutes. They remained strong on their serve in the second set and saved the only break point that they faced to take the second set 6-3 in 32 minutes and made the upset in less than an hour.
In the men’s doubles event, Aisam partnering with Nederland’s Jean-Julien Rojer defeated Russian pair of Evgeny Donskoy and Dmitry Tursunov 6-3, 7-6 to enter the next round.
