Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I want to invite the attention of the authorities towards the problem of electricity bills.

Nowadays, the K-electric department is increasing the bills exclusively. Electricity bills are like other things increasing month by month; people are not able to pay such big amounts with their home expenses. These days people are likely facing difficulties to get their basic needs i.e school fees, shelter, and food. Electricity is not even supplied properly to the citizens and even more, some areas are becoming dark day by day due to the shortage of electricity. In the presence of these circumstances, how can one be able to pay bills double or triple the total electricity used by them? Therefore, I am requesting the concerned authorities to be kind to the citizens to mark their problems and do some concessions on the electricity bills so that makes middle-class or lower-class families fulfil their basic needs.
