Alleged terrorist killed in Dera Ghazi Khan raid

DERA GHAZI KHAN – An alleged terrorist belonging to a banned organisation and accused of a bank robbery was killed by CIA police Multan on Wednesday.
As per the police, Abdul Ghaffar Qaisrani was travelling in a bus proceeding towards Dera Ghazi Khan from Sadiqabad.
The police on a tip-off stopped the bus at Ghazi Ghat Bridge and started searching the bus.
The police asked the accused to come with them however he refused and resisted.
Later, the accused tried to commit suicide with hand grenade after leaving the bus. However, the police opened fire and killed him on the spot.
District Police Officer Chaudhry Muhammad Saleem reached the spot and ordered to shift the dead body to hospital for postmortem.
The DPO told the reporters that the accused was the member of a banned organisation and was involved in a bank robbery in Taunsa Sharif in which three people were killed. He said that the dead body will be handed over to the family of the accused after postmortem.
It must be mentioned here that co-accused of bank robbery Imran Arshad is in police custody.
Imran Arshad is also allegedly involved in the attack on Sri Lankan cricket team.
