BAJAUR AGENCY - Maulvi Jamal-ud-Din has been appointed as the new chief of defunct Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan Bajaur chapter, as his predecessor Maulvi Faqir Mohammad quitted the top slot on Monday. It may be mentioned here that Taliban have lost their strength and control in the scattered areas of the restive Bajaur Agency due to military operation. The security forces have dismantled most of their hideouts. The militants are on the run in the area. There are also reports about the internal conflicts of Taliban.
