MIRPURKHAS - A Hindu woman committed suicide by hanging herself with a rope in village Yousuf Bajwa, taluka Shujaabad here on Thursday. According to detail, Shremti Rami, 40, wife of Kastoro Kolhi, mother of 6 children hanged herself with a rope in her house over domestic affair. Police brought the body in mortuary of civil hospital where after legal formality her body was handed over to heirs.

PROTEST AGAINST NON-PAYMENT OF SALARIES

Scores of employees of Sindh Building Control Authority Mirpurkhas held demonstration here on Thursday outside the local press club to protest against depriving of 5 months due salaries. The protesters carrying banners and placards raised slogans demanding their 5 months salaries.

Talking to media persons, they complained that lower staff was deprived of 5 months salaries.

They urged the concerned authorities to take immediate notice and ensure providing them their 5 months salaries.
