ISLAMABAD - The police have arrested 12 suspects and impounded 20 unregistered motorcycles during a massive search and combing operation conducted in premises of Tarnol Police Station, said a police spokesman on Tuesday. 

According to details, on the direction of IG Islamabad Muhammad Ahsan Younas, the officials under the supervision of SP Saddar Zone Tassawar Iqbal after searching 70 houses, 25 shops and 110 persons, took into custody 20 motorbikes without documents and 12 suspects, out of which one was released after verification.

The IG Islamabad said that search operations are being carried out against criminal elements in different areas of the city to tighten the noose around the criminals.
