SARGODHA - The University of Sargodha (UoS) signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs)  with a variety of prominent commercial organizations offering students a wide range of technical  and professional knowledge.

In an MoU with the Sargodha Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industry, the both  committed to cooperate on academic and research ventures, economic and development projects,  fostering local industries, Internships for students, and co-organizing seminars, workshops, and  conferences for knowledge sharing and professional training of the students.

Secondly, the UoS inked an agreement with Nayatel to strengthen university-telecom sector linkages, job opportunities for the fresh graduates and physical and virtual training sessions for students’ professional  grooming. To develop a strong relationship with the banking sector, the university signed an agreement 

of cooperation with Khushhali Microfinance Bank (KMBL) for strengthening university-banking linkages, 

delivering professional training to fresh graduates, enhancing skills through internships programmes 

and providing employment opportunities.

The Sargodha University also signed MoU with learning-based strategies (LBS) for collaboration 

in industry-academia linkages and economic diplomacy, information & data exchange, elevating research projects, participation of alumni and females teachers in the portal, Knowledge sharing, and developing relationships with both institutions’ incubators.

Vice chancellor Prof Muhammad Saleem Mazhar expressed his gratitude to the organizations for successfully signing agreements.
