ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued a contempt notice to Secretary Health Muhammad Ayub Sheikh, ordering him to appear before the court within 10 days.

When IHC acting Chief Justice of Noor ul Haq Qureshi took up the case for hearing on Friday, advocate Saifur Rehman appeared on behalf of the petitioners and told the court that despite a court order of July 10, employees of central health establishment Islamabad, who belong to Karachi, have not been transferred to Karachi while payment of salaries to them has been stopped.

The court while serving notice of contempt of court on secretary health ordered him to appear before it within 10 days.
