ISLAMABAD - Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) Friday increased prices of Re-Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) by up to 16.5 per cent ($2.1369 per Million British Thermal Units) for the month of September for the consumers of SNGPL and SSGC. A notification issued by OGRA said that it has increased the price of RLNG by 16.16 per cent for the consumers of Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Company Limited (SNGPL) and 16.50 per cent for Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC). The regulator increased the provisional price of RLNG and jacked up the rates for the consumers of SNGPL by $2.1359 per unit while for the consumers of SSGC it has been increased by $2.1369 per unit, said a notification. The price of PLL spot purchase is almost $2.35 per mmbtu cheaper than the spot purchase of PSO. The spot price of LNG for PSO is $17.84 per mmbtu while in case of PLL it is $15.4937 per mmbtu for the month of September. The price of LNG under the long term agreement by PSO was $ 9.7195 per mmbtu and the rate of PLL long term agreement was up to $8.6278 per mmbtu.
