LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, has invited the Chinese Industrialists to setup an auto manufacturing unit in Punjab, for which provincial Government will extend every possible cooperation.
He was talking to members of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, Bayinchaolu in Lahore today. They discussed ways to boost cooperation between Punjab and Chinese province Jilin in various sectors.
He lauded the $43 billion Chinese investment terming it a great gift for Pakistan from the Chinese President which the people of Pakistan will never forget. Sharif said the CPEC will not only have a positive impact on Pakistan but rather on the entire region.
The chief minister added that the orange line metro service in Lahore another project made possible with Chinese cooperation will be completed on time and will be operational soon. The chief minister also stated that students from Pakistan may be sent to Jilin Province for training in different fields including engineering.
