State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali on Tuesday declared that A,B and C plans of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had drowned in Nullah Lai in Rawalpindi and praised the role of traders for condemned the strike call of the party.
He also warned the PTI leaders and workers that no attempt would be tolerated to shut down markets forcibly and such elements would be dealt with iron fist.
He was addressing an open court here at Gujranwala.
On the occasion, Abid Sher Ali suspended 10 Gepco officials including three SDOs on charges of corruption and misuse of powers.
The state minister alleged that the PTI was acting as enemy of the country and Imran Khan was carrying on his anti-estate agenda but government with the help of devoted and sincere people would foil all such anti-state efforts.
During open court, the state minister listened to complaints of citizens regarding electricity bills and issued on spot orders.
On the complaints of citizens, Abid Sher Ali suspended three SDOs including SDO Shaheen Abad, Ladhawala Warriach and Aroop sub-divisions and seven other officials for corruption and misuse of powers.
He pledged to end power loadshedding and pulled out the country out of darkness. He said that teh governmnet had launched various projects to eliminate power crisis which upon completion would resolve the energy crisis.
