Punjab govt to recruit 130,000 employees in province: CM Buzdar

LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Wednesday said the Punjab government would recruit 130,000 employees in different departments of the province. He said this during a meeting with different notable people here at Circuit House DG Khan, says a news release issued here. Special Assistant to Chief Minister Hassan Khawer, Advisor Hanif Patafi and others were present on the occasion. The Chief Minister said that the recruitment advertisements had been published in the first phase and the candidates would be given two years age relaxation. “A notification in this regard has been issued,” he added. He said that Pakistan was deviated from its real destination due to wrong policies of the past governments, adding that now, Pakistan had returned to the right track under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan. He said the government had engaged itself in serving the masses while there was no corruption scandal in this tenure. “I am answerable to Almighty Allah and the people”, he added. SACM Hasaan Khawar said Usman Buzdar had given back south Punjab its rights and it’s time to develop the backward areas under his leadership.
CM lays foundation stone 
of mother & child hospital
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar laid the foundation stone of the mother and child hospital in DG Khan which would be completed at a cost of Rs3.80 billion. He also laid the foundation stone of emergency and OPD block of teaching hospital DG Khan at a cost of 3.84 billion rupees, said a handout issued here.
Usman Buzdar also inaugurated the diagnostic imaging department of the teaching hospital and inspected its various sections. He directed to early made functional the shelter home in the teaching hospital during a briefing about the project. Punjab CM expresses satisfaction over progress of Cardiology hospital. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar visited Sardar Fateh Muhammad Buzdar Institution of Cardiology in DG Khan to inspect the pace of development on the project.  He expressed satisfaction over the progress and directed to accelerate work on the institute to be completed with a cost of two billion rupees. The 200-bed hospital was a gift for the people as its first phase would be made functional early this year, having a capacity of 100 beds, he said. The CM said that the Cardiology Institute would be completed in time while ensuring the quality as no compromise would be made on standards of public welfare schemes. The modern medical facilities would be available to the people of South Punjab including that of Balochistan and Sindh, he added and regretted that south Punjab was kept deprived of quality healthcare facilities in the past. The past rulers compounded the deprivations however the incumbent government was working hard to overcome the deprivation of the people of South Punjab, he concluded. 
Provincial Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid, Advisor Hanif Pitafi, MPA Sardar Ahmed Ali Dreshak, SACM Hasaan Khawar and others were also present.
