Three titles for Bilal, two for Abubakar in Millat Tractors Junior National Tennis

LAHORE - Triple crowns were clinched by Bilal Asim (Sicas), two by Abubakar Talha (Wapda) and one each for Haider Ali Rizwan, Ashtafila Arif, Ahtesham Humayun, Zohaib Afzal Malik and Hajra Sohail in the Millat Tractors Junior National Tennis Championship that concluded here at Punjab Tennis Academy, Bagh-e-Jinnah on Wednesday. 
Bilal Asim fist won the U-18 final by thumping Haider Ali Rizwan 6-0, 6-3. He then doubled his crowns, when, partnering with Haider Rizwan, beat Farman Shakeel/ Hassan Ali 6-3, 6-2 in boys U-18 doubles final. Bilal completed hat-trick of crowns by beating  Haider Rizwan 6-3, 6-0 in U-16 final. Bilal thanked his coach Rashid Malik (ZTBL) for guidance and training, helping him excelling at national and international level. 
In girls U-18 final, emerging player Ashtafila Arif (Crescent School) beat Zahra Suleman 3-6, 7-6, 10-5. Wapda’s Abubakar Talha first beat Umar Jawad 6-2, 6-3 to lift boys/girls U-12 title and then doubled the titles when he won boys U-14 doubles final, partnering with Zohaib Afzal Malik (SA Gardens). They beat Ameer Mazari and Hamza Ali Rizwan 4-0, 5-4. 
The boys U-14 title was won by Ahtesham Humayun, who beat Hussnain Ali Rizwan 0-6, 6-1, 10-8. The boys/girls U-10 title went to Hajra Suhail (AAA Associates), who thumped Mustafa Uzair Rana 4-0, 4-0. The boys/girls U-8 gold was won by Aimen Rehan, silver by Ehsan Bari and bronze by Daniyal Afzal Malik. The boys/girls U-6 gold went to Mamnoon Bari, silver to Yahya Khan and bronze to Aahil Khurram. 
Chief guest Lt Col (retd) Mukhtar Ahmad Bhatti distributed prizes among the winners in the presence of PLTA Secretary Rashid Malik, Imran Ayub of Millat Tractors, Naeem Sid from USA, Ashfaq Chohan, players, families and tennis lovers.
