After the retirement of Pakistan veteran all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez, the cricket fraternity flanked by fans rushed to Twitter to give him a remarkable farewell.

According to cricket fans, the deadly spin bowling attack of Pakistan's side has ended today. The deadly group comprised Shahid Afridi, Saeed Ajmal, and Mohammad Hafeez.

In his 18 years of cricket journey, Professor represented Pakistan in 392 international matches, scoring 12,780 runs and taking 253 wickets, besides also captaining the side in 32 international matches. He was a member of the Pakistan side that won the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 in England and Wales.

Apart from being on the field, he was very supportive when it comes to off-field.

National team skipper Babar Azam, all-rounder Shoaib Malik, Imad Wasim, and many others have given a farewell to Professor in different styles. Senior Sports Journalist Azhar Khan, while sharing farewell compliments to the Professor, said, "Hafeez will be remembered by fans and Pakistan cricket team."
