LAHORE - The University Veterinary and Animal Sciences and Punjab Police department has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to focus on dog training and dogs disease related matters. The both partners have decided to build strengthening the relation and playing their pivotal role to improve the security challenges. The UVAS Chairman department of pathology Dr Asim Aslam and SSP special branch Sarfraz Ahmad Falki signed MoU. Dean faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad, registrar Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf also spoke on the occasion. DIG special branch Rana Muhammad Iqbal said that the purpose of the understanding was to get services and benefits to improve the sniff dog health and training to combat the terrorism. He further said that the country was facing war like situation in such circumstance it is our prime duty to enhance the capability of the security forces to fight against terrorist activities.
