CIMA to launch 3rd office today

OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE Vice-President Chartered Institute of Management Accountants Gulzari Babber has said the Institute is trying to bring the worlds best talent to the fore, and its members are the top men of the field working in leading companies. While talking to TheNation here on Monday, Gulzari mentioned that the CIMA launched its first office at Karachi in April 2009, second in June 2010 at Lahore, and the third would be launched on Tuesday (today) at Islamabad, which was part of expansion and growth strategy. Since our first step, the CIMA has received an overwhelming response from business and finance students, he added. The CIMA considers itself to be the worlds largest professional body of management accountants, which has 183,000 members and students in 168 countries, while its affiliates work in industry, commerce and not-for-profit organisations. It is said to be constantly updating our qualification, professional experience requirements and CPD programme, which ensures that the CIMA members and students are first choice for employers who are recruiting financially trained business leaders.
