LAHORE  -  A special cleanliness plan has been made to ensure neat and clean environment in the provincial capital on Eidul Fitr as per the direction of Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz. This was stated by Commissioner Captain (retd) Muhammad Usman, Deputy Commissioner Umer Sher Chatha and LWMC CEO Rafia Haider during a briefing to media on Monday. A control room was set up to ensure round-the-clock monitoring of the cleanliness operation and quick redressal of complaints.

“Cleaning of 175 big mosques and Eidgahs will be ensured before 6:00am tomorrow,” they said.

“On Eid days, the PHA will be given 10 workers for cleanliness of each park in the city,” they added. “Special cleanliness arrangements will also be made in the surroundings of 223 graveyards in the provincial capital,” they stated.


Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz chaired a meeting of Punjab Health Department in Lahore on Monday (today). During the meeting, he reviewed steps taken to provide quality healthcare facilities to the common man in province.

MPAs including Sardar Owais Ahmad Khan Leghari, Khawaja Salman Rafique, Khawaja Khalil Tahir Sandhu, Secretary Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education and officials concerned attended the meeting.
