Quetta Customs seize smuggled foreign goods hidden in fruit truck

QUETTA     -   Customs Field Enforcement Unit Quetta on Sunday seized foreign goods worth more than 20 million rupees during an operation in the Rakhni area of the Punjab and Balochistan border.

The Customs’ spokesperson said that a large number of foreign goods were hidden under the guise of rotten apples. Worthy cigarette papers, unhealthy Chinese tobacco, motorcycle and other items were included among the recovered smuggled items. As per the report, the value of the exported goods is about Rs20 million, the spokesper­son said adding that further inves­tigations are underway.
