Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has confirmed sending letters to Mariam Nawaz, Hussain Nawaz, Hassan Nawaz, Imran Khan, Aleem Khan and others over Panama leaks issue and said that the remaining persons in the Panama leaks would be sent letters soon.

The FBR spokesman, Dr Iqbal told media persons here on Saturday that in the letters it has been asked whether they own or not the offshore companies. If they own the companies, they have to submit its details. He said that some letters would be sent on availability of mail addresses of the persons disclosed by the Panama papers.

He said that the FBR was under pressure by the political parties in and outside the parliament that action should be taken against those having offshore companies. He said that the information would be provided to the high level commission probing the Panama leaks issue.
