LAHORE - The students of University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) celebrated their first ever fun fair day on the last day of spring festival on Saturday. At this occasion Chairman Chief Minister Punjab Task Force on Administrative and Finance Efficiency Syed Farogh Naweed, inaugurated the fun fair with Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Nawaz in the chair. This was a fabulous occasion with overwhelming student and teacher participation. The families of the teaching staff and students enjoyed the day with innovative games, music, stalls, dedications, traditional food stalls and much more. The chief guest on the occasion said such activities are important to develop creativity and innovation, personality development, interpersonal skills and to promote a cohesive student community. The vice chancellor presented a shield of appreciation to the chief guest Syed Farogh Naweed to remind him of his visit to UVAS family. Fifty stalls were set up by different disciplines of the university. A live tiger pup was also brought over in the fun fair for the enjoyment of the participants. The vice chancellor at the end distributed the certificates, cups and shields amongst the organisers of the stalls.
