Skilled blind seeks govts help

OUR STAFF REPORTER NAROWAL - A skilled Hafiz-e-Quran, who is blind from birth and father of six children, appealed for help to get work so as to earn his livelihood. 45-year-old Hafiz Habib Ali, a resident of Bola Bajwa near here, got religious education and memorised the Holy Quran in 1988. Then he learned the skill of netting chairs from an institution for blinds in Faisalabad. He said that he was working as Imam in his village mosque and earning his livings by netting chairs. He has two daughters and four sons but due to unavailability of sufficient earnings from netting of chairs he is living hand-to-mouth life. He said that inflation and unavailability of work had made his familys life very hard. he said he was very industrious person and wanted to earn his livelihood by doing work but from last many months he had no work to do. He desired to provide his children with better education and facilities.
