Andre de Grasse bags gold in Men's 200-meters

Andre de Grasse won the gold medal in Men's 200-meters at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics with 19.62 seconds on Wednesday.

Canadian athlete won his first-ever gold medal in Olympics while achieving fourth gold for Canada at Tokyo Games.

US athletes Kenneth Bednarek and Noah Lyles bagged silver with 19.68 seconds and bronze with 19.74 seconds in the event respectively.

de Grasse, 26, won the bronze medal with 9.89 seconds in Men's 100-meters at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics on August 1.

He also grabbed three medals in Rio 2016 including one silver medal in Men's 200-meters and two bronze medals in Men's 100-meters and Men's 4 x 100-meters relay.

Kenya bags two medals in Men's 800-meters

Emmanuel Kipkurui Korir of Kenya achieved a gold medal in Men's 800-meters at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics with 1:45.06 time on Wednesday.

Korir brought the first gold medal for Kenya in Tokyo 2020.

Another Kenyan athlete Ferguson Cheruiyot Rotich grabbed silver with 1:45.23 while Patryk Dobek of Poland won bronze with 1:45.39 time in the event.
