LARKANA - Three children died while taking bath in a pond in Paroo Abro village located within the limits of Mahi Makol police station on Tuesday. 

The three children identified as Khadim Hussain, 5, son of Akhtiar Chandio; Ali Hyder, 7, son of Deedar Chandio, and Suhana, 6, daughter of Mukhtiar Chandio were bathing in the pond when they drowned. 

They were shifted to Chandka Medical College Hospital (CMCH), Larkana, in a precarious condition where doctors pronounced the dead. After necessary formalities, their bodies were handed over to their heirs.

Meanwhile, in another tragic incident, a 28-year woman Shanti, a resident of Khairo Dero, near Larkana, allegedly committed suicide at her home by inhaling poisonous substance due to poverty. 

However, her heirs rushed her to CMCH where duty doctors confirmed her death. Her heirs said that Shanti ended her precious life because of worst poverty. Her body was handed over to them after legal formalities.
