100 SSC exam toppers get laptops

MULTAN - The Punjab government has given 100 laptops to the students, who showed distinction in Secondary School Annual Examination 2012 held under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Multan. The laptops have been given to 50 top position holders in Science Group and as many in Arts Group.
The laptops were distributed by the Director Colleges Dr Muhammad Hussain Azad. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the Punjab government would continue encouraging the brilliant students.
TRADER ROBBED: A trader was deprived of cash and a cellphone by three robbers here on Saturday. According to police, Riaz Hussain of Jalilabad was going home after drawing cash from bank when three robbers on a motorcycle intercepted him. They held him hostage at gunpoint and snatched Rs0.3 million and a cellphone. The Jalilabad Police have registered a case.
