NOORPUR THAL - Prominent social worker Malik Haji Gul Asghar Baghoor has urged the Punjab government to formulate a comprehensive plan for the establishment of industrial estates in the Thal. The major impact of an industrial estate in the tehsil will reduce the rapid rural migration towards urban areas and help in generating employment opportunities at their doorsteps, he added.
He further said there was a dire need for the establishment of industrial estates for the development of the Thal to promote business activity and to help reduce unemployment.
