Resignation of 25 MNA’s of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are with the Speaker, National Assembly but despite requests to follow parliamentary rules, nothing was done. The government does not want to accept their resignation and is waiting patiently for some wisdom to dawn on the PTI leadership but Imran Khan’s obstinacy is not settling anything. This politics of expedience, rather than principle is staggering; leadership of PTI should consider the issues Pakistan is facing and instead should choose a positive solution to this situation.
