MULTAN - Over 60 men, women and children fell unconscious after eating poisonous food at Sabeel More near Qasba Marral on Saturday, sources in Basti Malook police said. All the victims were invited by one Qasim to a charity party following a ceremony for the well-being of his sons. The patients were rushed to Nishtar Hospital where their condition is stated to be stable. On the other hand, Basti Malook police are learnt to have arrested Qasim and investigations are under way. The residents of the area suspected that some kind of poisonous element was mixed in the food.
