ISLAMABAD (PR): In line with its commitment to ensure higher accuracy of subscriber data, Telenor Pakistan has successfully completed the installation of Biometric Verification System (BVS) for activation of SIMs at all of its Sahulat Ghar outlets across Pakistan.
It is pertinent to note here that Telenor Pakistan has been selling SIMs through BVS at all of its own Sales &Service Centers and Franchises in Karachi since December 01, 2013 and completed the nationwide installation of BVS for activation of SIMs at its S&SCs and Franchises on December 19, 2013. On March07, 2014 Telenor Pakistan became the first mobile operator to initiate BVS installation at its retail outlets and completed the BVS deployment in Karachi and Baluchistan by March 31, 2014.
Telenor Pakistan’s staff along with channel partners was trained on the new system to ensure seamless transition to meet customer demands. Moreover, in order to facilitate consumers, special SIM sale counters for BVS have been setup alongside placement of informative posters, standees and handing out of brochures.
