On the petition of Mustafa Chohan, President of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) lawyers wing civil court has issued a stay order on the publication of Reham Khan's 'tell-all' book.
The court after a brief hearing summoned Reham Khan who is the ex-wife of the PTI chairman, Hussain Haqqani and PEMRA as well.
PTI lawyer in his petition stated, Reham is working on the agenda of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and she is carrying out this conspiracy with the help of the former ambassador Hussain Haqqani.
The petitioner pleaded the court to ban Reham's book and stop its publication.
PTI members have condemned this act of Reham Khan and accused her of meeting with PML-N leaders Ahsan Iqbal and Maryam to plot conspiracies against Imran Khan.
PTI leader and actor Hamza Ali Abbasi said that nobody hacked Reham’s email account. “One of her team members sent this manuscript.
"Imran Khan is not worried and doesn't care about the book at all", he further added.
He said Reham Khan levelled heinous allegations against the PTI women leaders and wrote all of them had affairs with Imran Khan.
Hamza further added that Reham levelled baseless allegations against former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram and his late wife Dr Huma in her book.
