Pakistan hockey team pay tributes to attack martyrs

LAHORE - The Pakistan hockey team Wednesday visited Liberty roundabout to pay tributes to the officers of Elite Force who sacrificed their lives while saving the Sri Lankan cricket team on Tuesday. The players and the team officials offered fateha and laid floral wreath on the spot. The secretary Pakistan Hockey Federation, Coach Shahid Ali Khan, Kamran Ashraf and the players strongly condemned the attacks on Sri Lankan team and said that it was a very sad incident, Pakistan sports will be badly suffered in future. They also paid tribute to the officers of Elite Force who got shahadat in the incident and said that their sacrifice will be remembered forever.
