Put pen to paper sir

Hundreds of worried and affected domestic consumers of the Bank Colony, Shah Faisal Road, Samanabad, Lahore are patiently waiting for the approved of LT proposals that would lead to the subsequent installation of a transformer to put to an end to their months long hardship. The residents of Ittehad Colony sub division of LESCO have suffered a great deal due to a malfunctioning transformer, which supplied low voltage to the consumers for over four months from 01.09.2008 to 18.01.2009. In view of the (considerable) damage to our electric appliances, we submitted two proposals (No. 1244-131 and 132) in November 2008, which are still awaiting approval from the office of the Chief Executive LESCO. The limit of our patience was tested to the last tether but our spirit of co-operation with the department can be judged from the fact that we suffered great hardships and losses for over 4 months till the transformer tanked completely on 18-01-09 but paid our electricity bills regularly all this while at the rates charged despite receiving low voltage. We, the consumers of the area, would be duly indebted and obliged to the honourable Chief Executive LESCO if he finally grants approval to the LT proposals without further loss of time as the weather is changing swiftly now. The existing transformer of 200 KVA installed opposite Ghausia Masjid, Shah Faisal Road, Samanabad would not be able to bear the increased load in the hot summer days. -RESIDENTS of Samanabad, Lahore, March 2.
