Police arrest man accused of sexually assaulting 12-year-boy 

Rawalpindi-Kallar Syedan police have arrested a man for his alleged involvement in sexually assaulting a 12-year-old boy, informed a police spokesman on Thursday. 
The detained accused has been identified as Ahsan against whom a case was also registered, he said. According to him, a man lodged complaint with Police Station Kallar Syedan stating his brother was going to school when Ahsan caught him and took him to his workshop. He said Ahsan sodomised his brother and threatened not to share with any one. The applicant asked police to file a case against the accused and arrest him, the spokesman said.
Taking action, police registered case and rounded up the accused.
He further mentioned that Station House Officer of PS Kallar Syedan brought the victim to hospital for medical examination in which doctors confirmed sexual assault with the boy. He said police have adopted a zero tolerance policy against the culprits involved in sexual assaults against children and women.
Meanwhile, police produced a tractor driver involved in crushing a police inspector Malik Rafaqat to death before a court of law and obtained his physical remand for further investigation.
The accused has been identified as Dil Jan, against whom a case was also registered with PS Rawat.  According to a police spokesman, ASP Saddar Saud Khan along with Rawat Police have traced the accused and held him. A senior police officer told media that Dil Jan was driving a tractor without having a license, who hit motorcycle of Inspector Malik Rafaqat at Dhoke Khokhran.
