ISLAMABAD    -   The security forces have killed seven terrorists during exchange of fire in two separate inci­dents in general areas of Tank and Hassan Khel. 

According to a press release issued the ISPR here on Tuesday, the security troops ob­served and engaged terrorists’ movement in general area Tank.

During the intense ex­change of fire, 4 terror­ists were killed. Weap­ons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists. It said the killed terrorists re­mained actively involved in target killings, kidnapping and extortion in the area. In the other incident, terror­ists fired on a military con­voy in general area Hassan Khel. The troops initiated a prompt response, effective­ly engaged and killed 3 ter­rorists. Weapons and ammu­nition were also recovered from the killed terrorists. The killed terrorists remained ac­tively involved in terrorist activities against the securi­ty forces. However, the ISPR added, during the intense ex­change of fire, Lance Naik Muhammad Pannah of Pak Army (age 30 years, resident of District Jaffarabad) and Se­poy Shamas Ullah of Frontier Constabulary (age 36 years, resident of South Waziristan District) having fought gal­lantly, embraced martyrdom. Sanitisation of the area was carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area, said the ISPR.
