Pakistan’s Inam Butt has bagged a gold medal in the World Beach Wrestling Series 2021 in Italy on Saturday.

Inam defeated Ukrainian wrestler Oleksii Yakovchuk by 3-0 in the 90 KG category.

In a video message, he said “Alhamdulillah, I won the gold medal in the series and all the credit goes to PWF. We have our new body elected today and luckily I won the medal on the same day.”

Earlier, he beat Turkey’s Omer Faruk Karadeniz and Romania’s Mihai Nicolae Palaghia in quarter-final and semi-final respectively.
