IG directs zonal officers for action against land grabbers

Islamabad-Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Muhammad Ahsan Younas has directed all zonal officers to take immediate and strict action against land grabbers in the capital.
He added no one would be allowed to grab property of any citizen. IG issued these directions while listening to public complaints during an open court here on Wednesday. He directed all police officials to resolve the public complaints on priority. The IGP said that the purpose of holding these open court is to solve public issues immediately and purely on merit. 
Islamabad police chief said that it is our prime responsibility to provide protection to the life and property of citizens and resolve their problems on priority. 
Adiala Jail

Punjab government has transferred Superintendent Adiala Jail Arshad Ali Warraich here on Wednesday, informed sources.
According to a notification issued by Additional Chief Secretary (Home), Asad Javaid Warraich (BS-18) replaced Arshad Ali Warraich as new Superintendent of Adiala jail.
According to sources, the Punjab government has posted Arshad Ali Warraich as Superintendent of Central Jail, Mianwali while Saqib Nazir was transferred.
The newly appointed superintendent of Adiala Jail Asad Javaid Warraich has assumed charge of his office. Earlier, he was serving as Superintendent District Jail Okara.  
SHO Kahuta escapes

A gang of four unidentified assailants carried out a gun attack on the vehicle of station house Officer police station Kahuta and his driver near Dubai Hotel at Kahuta Road, informed sources. 
SHO Sub Inspector Chaudhry Muhammad Umer Siddique and his driver constable Arshad Mehmood remained escaped unhurt in a gun attack carried out by unidentified assailants riding on two motorcycles in the vicinity of the Police Station Kahuta at 11:45pm on Tuesday last, they said. A case has been registered against the attackers under sections 324/427 and 34 of PPC with PS Kahuta on complaint of the victim SHO, according to a police spokesman.
Sources added that SHO PS Kahuta SI Chaudhry Umer Siddique lodged complaint that he along with his constable Arshad Mehmood was travelling in his car from Kahuta to Rawalpindi to enquire about health a sick friend when four gunmen riding on two motorcycles launched brazen armed attack. He added he retaliated after which the attackers managed to escape from the scene.
“Since I have tightened noose around criminals in Kahuta, unknown gunmen fired at me to kill me,” he said. He said bullets damaged his car. Police registered case and began investigation.
Meanwhile, CPO Sajid Kiani took notice of the gun attack on police Officer and cop and directed the subordinates to arrest the attackers. SP Saddar Division and SDPO Kahuta Circle visited crime scene and collected evidences. A massive search operation has also been launched in Kahuta by police to arrest the fleeing attackers.
