SKARDU Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah has said that the Government will take all effective and immediate steps to rehabilitate the affected people during the heavy land sliding in Kindirik area. The Chief Minister while talking to the affectees here on Saturday, announced Rs 500,000 for the family of eight died persons and Rs 100,000 each for 12 injured persons. He also announced that the collapsed houses and mosque would be built by the Local Government and Rural Development (LGRD) Skardu. He inspected the relief camp established for the affected families of Kindirik (Yoorongoot). He also visited the Keris village, where heavy rains affected the local people in the near past.
