Police register case on court orders

HAFIZABAD - On the orders of the District and Sessions Judge, the City Police registered a case against unknown accused here under Section 302 PPC on the charge of allegedly murdering Muhammad Tariq Jaral of Kashmir Nagar in the night between May 17 and 18. The case has been registered following a writ petition filed by deceaseds brother, Muhammad Rashed Jaral. Tariq went missing on May 17 and when he went to the garage in the morning of May 18, he was astonished to found the dead body of his brother and a girl, Anam alias Babli, lying on the rear seat of a car. He alleged that the police refused to register a case on his request hence the police be ordered to register a case against unidentified accused who murdered his brother. But according to the earlier version of the eye-witnesses and police semi-naked dead bodies of both Tariq and Anam were found in the rear seat of the car and blood was oozing from their mouth. According to report of the doctor, who conducted post-mortem, the deaths of both boy and girl were caused due to suffocation owing to the accumulation of Carbon Mono Oxide Gas in the closed-door car after failure of AC.
