PIA plane hit by bird again, escapes crash

Lahore- A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight once again had a narrow escape from a disaster today morning when the engine of the aircraft was hit by a bird.
The flight PK-721 flying from Karachi to Lahore, was hit by a bird while landing at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore. However, pilot maneuvered the aircraft and landed safely. According to officials, airport runway will be strictly monitored during arrival and departure of the flights to avert any untoward incidents. Two days earlier, similar incident occurred at Banazir Bhutto airport where PIA’s Toronto-bond flight was also hit by a bird.
