OKARA - Chichawatni Police arrested a former SHO, Aziz Ahmad Cheema over abuse of powers, whereas raids were conducted for the arrest of his six co-accused unknown police officials and five nominated private accused persons.
According to details, former SHO, Aziz Ahmad Cheema, along with his six co-accused police officials, conducted raid on April 25, at the house of Hakim Ali, cast Dogar R/O, chak no, 38/12 L,Chichawatni and seized Rs2 crore, 99 lac including 3 tola gold ornaments during the alleged raid and kidnapped Hakim Ali his son Bilal, Anait s/o Bashir, Fozia BB w/o Altaf and an infant of Fozia BB, aged two-month from there.
Meanwhile, an application was submitted to the Punjab IGP Inaam Ghani by the heirs of the said abducted persons. A departmental enquiry was conducted on the directions of IGP by the senior police officers in which former SHO PS Saddar Okara including all the said co-accused persons were declared guilty.
A case No. 277/21 U/S 395,365, PPC in PS Saddar Chichawatni was registered against the former SHO PS Saddar Okara and six co-accused police officials including five private accused persons upon the complaint of Mohammad Saleem S/O Mohammad Amin R/O 38/12 L, Tehsil Chichawatni district Sahiwal.
