JUI-F dubs Pervaiz Ashraf dummy PM

OKARA - Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) central leader Hafiz Hussain Ahmed has questioned as to what will be role of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Fakhruddin G Ibrahim if general polls were to be held under the supervision of Pakistan Army.
Talking to media persons here on Friday, Hafiz Hussain Ahmed said that preparations for general elections had not been finalised as the government had not yet disclosed the name of proposed caretaker prime minister.
He termed the incumbent Raja Pervez Ashraf as a dummy prime minister "who according to him" had no authority to take decisions at his own. The JUI-F leader said that President Asif Ali Zardari was trying to bring forward Faryal Talpur to replace slain Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader Benazir Bhutto, adding that he (president), however, had kept all the cards close to his chest so far.
