Nawaz imbued Kashmir cause with new vigour

People across Azad Jammu & Kashmir observes the Thanksgiving Day and thanked Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for effectively taking up the Kashmir issue by offering a four-point peace initiative in the United Nations General Assembly to ensure its early solution.
A call for observing the Thanksgiving Day was given by Prime Minister of AJK Ch Abdul Majeed to express gratitude on behalf of the people of Jammu & Kashmir state living either side of the Line of Control for offering the four-point peace formula to India for the early settlement of the lingering conflict in line with the aspirations of the people of Jammu & Kashmir through the resumption of result-oriented dialogues.
Rallies were attended by the people of all sections of society, in all major cities of AJK including capital city of Muzaffarabad, Mirpur and Rawalakot were the hallmark of the Thanksgiving Day. They observed to extend thanks and reposed full confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Shareef for raising the importance of early settlement of the issue.
In Mirpur, a rally was staged on the district courts premises. The participants raised slogans in favour of Kashmir freedom movement and against Indian occupation of Held Kashmir.
The speakers included National Events Organising Committee Chairman Amjad Iqbal, Vice Chairman and Haq Nawaz. They hailed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for his courageous stance on Kashmir issue in the UN General Assembly. They said that the prime minister of Pakistan had imbued the Kashmir freedom movement with new life by raising the Kashmir issue in the UN General Assembly. The speakers pledged to continue to support the people of IHK in their struggle for freedom from the illegitimate and illegal occupation of India. They said that the steps taken by the government of Pakistan at the diplomatic level have exposed Indian atrocities in the Held Kashmir to suppress the people demanding their legitimate right to self-determination.
Addressing a rally held in Muzaffarabad, AJK Prime Minister Abdul Majeed fully endorsed the four-point peace formula moved by Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif in the General Assembly session of the United Nations Organization.
AJK prime minister said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif sincerely advocated the cause of peace and prosperity in South Asia through allowing the people of Jammu & Kashmir their right of self-determination as legitimate settlement of the lingering Kashmir dispute.
Majeed warned India to shun its hostile attitude. The prime minister said that unless the UN Security Council seriously acknowledged the apparent danger to the peace of the South Asian region, there was least likelyhood that India would honour its own commitments and promise to allow the Kashmiris to exercise their right of self-determination.
